Waity Katie No More- The Prince has Finally Proposed!

It has finally happened! A royal engagement, long awaited by both the public and the royal family themselves.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have admitted in a press conference today that they are indeed engaged to be married, and have been for about 3 weeks!
Kate, 28 dubbed  "Waity Katie" by the press, has been seeing the prince for around 8 years now, since their first meeting at the University of St Andrew's in 2001. The young beauty has frequently been seen at royal events since the beginning of their relationship and has been often complimented on her stylish sense of dress, placing high on many a "Best Dressed" list in the tabloids.
The wedding is rumored to be scheduled for the Summer or Spring of 2010 after William popped the question in October of this year in the midst of a romantic get-away to Kenya. The young royal admits to carrying the engagement ring, belonging to his mother, the People's Princess Diana of Wales (A telling omen perhaps?) in his rucksack in the two weeks leading up to his proposal.
According to the prince himself, the duo went out to a romantic dinner where he finally garnered the courage to ask for Kate's, now being referred to as Catherine, one can only assume to make her seem more "Royal", Hand in marriage.
The exact date of the wedding is to be announced leading up to the event, as no doubt, will all the other important details such as the venue, the dress, the hairstyle, the priest, and of course, what the queen will wear. My bet says purple. The woman has a strange obsession with it, although any fool could see the woman desperately needs Neutral colours.

As for those all important details, we'll keep our eyes and ears out and report back with all the goss.

As the clock now strikes, we are officially on Royal Watch.

Keep Your Eyes Open...
