It has been announced that facebook co-founder Chris Hughes (Above Left) and political director for Freedom To Marry Sean Eldridge are engaged!!!
The couple who have been together for five years (Wow! I can hardly bear 6 months...) and have been engaged for 2 weeks now.
The pair made their announcement at their SoHo Loft in NYC, Surrounded by friends and guests alike who gathered for a Freedom to Marry fundraiser, the couple announced:
"This is very timely for Chris and I to have you here tonight to celebrate marriage and work on marriage," Eldridge said to his guests, ""We got engaged two weeks ago, so there is a real sense of urgency. As you know, we can't get married in New York, so there is more of an urgency to approve gay marriage, so we can get married here. We're going to get married in the next year or two for sure — we're hoping as soon as possible.".
Well we at Peek A Boo wish them the best. As we all know, Gay marriage is illegal in most places across the world, and I For one, Boo herself find it appalling. These people just want to have the same privileges as the rest of us and hey, if 2 men or 2 women want to be as miserable as a man and a woman get to be, why not let them?
I wish them the utmost happiness although I just have one question,
Who got the engagement ring?
