Best and Worst Dressed

As we all know, award season is upon us and reports of the Golden Globes are running rampant, and whilst I won't attampt to compete with all these stories of whose who and whats what I will put in my two cents about the clothes.

Of course, we all have our own styles, own favourite designers (Most of them none of us can afford) but right now we will talk about my favourites.

The Worst:

Angelina Jolie

Usually an impeccable dresser with a style only to be bested by Princess Grace Kelly And the lovely Marilyn Monroe, Angelina is known to most as a beautiful and stylish woman. However, Angelina's dress at the Globes was severely lacking, as I'm sure most would agree with me.

Her green-sparkly creation probably seemed like a green-sparkly inspired idea at the time but just turned into a mess you couldn't even pass off as a hot one.

Hitting neck to ankle and wrist in between, this is definitely not one of her better outfits.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Better known as Jennifer Love Desperate to most, including our very own idol Perez Hilton, her white show-stopper was definitely a shocker, and indeed that is not a compliment.

The poofy chest along with the pearl bodice is most definitely the makings of a monstrocity not seen on the red carpet in quite the while. My biggest qualm with this dress however, is the big smile that Jennifer Love Ewwy is wearing on that hideous horse face of hers. If you were wearing something like that would you be grinning?

I think what we have here is a disaster.

Anne Hathaway

Uaually I adore America's Girl Next Door/Beauty Queen Anne Hathaway's style. Ever Since Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries, I have loved our lovely Anne, but this sparkly monstrocity, I just cannot get behind. Gold is a strike against you by my standards anyway, However sparkly gold with a disco vibe is just not something I can appreciate. I have one thing to say:

Why, Anne? Why?

The Best:

Olivia Wilde

I adore this woman as an actress and now I love her as a princess. For me, this dress took the absolute best for me. Her accessories were non-existant, however her gown more than made up for it. Looking more like Cinderella than anyone else did, this true life princess took my best dressed award and now I will take my hat off to her- Although I am not actually wearing a hat. Simply magnificent Princess Olivia.

Megan Fox

For the most part, I hate this Famewhoring air-head but I must admit that the girl knows how to accessorize. Looking stunning in her pale pink gown, Megan does indeed stand out of the crowd despite her over-used colour choice. Despite her... lets say less than stellar conversational ability, she sure does look pretty.

Kelly Osbourne

Wow. This versatile woman has not only changed her appearance in recent years but also her personality, and it more than shines through in this gorgeous dress. The blond beauty smiles brightly at the camera as all hastle to take photos of this stunning young woman. Previously known for her outroverted personality and her very public weight battle, this stunner has not only conquered her weight demons but also become quite the successful business woman.

Christina Aguilera, Mila Kunis, Diana Agron, Natalie Portman, Lea Michele, Sofia Vergara, Julia Stiles, Helena Bonham Carter, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Johnny Depp, Leighton Meester, Rhea Durham, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Westfeldt, Jane Krakowski, Tina Fey, Edie Falco, Hope Davis, Sarah Hyland, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jane Lynch, Colin Firth, Livia Giuggioli, Kaley Cuoco, Helen Mirren, Elizabeth Chambers, Amber Riley, Jessalyn Gilsig, Robert De Niro, Julianne Hough, Heather Morris, Ryan Kwanten, Sunrise Coigney, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Jim Parsons and Eva Longoria.

All tried, some succeeded some failed....
And so goes by another award show in Hollywood.
